STEPS on how to go about coding on a project:

1. Presentation: present a problem that needs a solution, written in a manner that helps our team understand better what the problem, bug, amendmant or system will accomplish:

i.e. How to setup a local Area Network between two Ubuntu servers?

  1. Connect both servers S1 and S2 on the second network slots respectively. Note that you can use the 1st slots but usually these would be occupied by the Service Provider's network that provides you or your server with internet access.
  2. On server [S1], type "ifconfig eth1 192.168.1.1" and
  3. On server [S2], type "ifconfig eth1 192.168.1.2"
  4. While still on server [S2], type "ping 192.168.1.1" to see if you can see server [S1] successfully.

2. Detailing Solutions: then explain what is going on with each step thoroughly on your solution.

3. Code Preview & Quality Controls: your proposed solution will be previewed by OVH Foundation's software develepment team. NB: Please also respond to their reviews accordingly.

4. Celebration: you can now freely go drink beer or two with your buddies.
