DID YOU KNOW that Mercury liquid is Electro-Conductive and does not dry up to a solid state in vacuum? A Mercury Tilt Switch for exapmple is a switch which completes and breaks an electrical circuit when it is tilted at certain angles. When it is tilted a small amount of the liquid metal mercury makes contact with metal electrodes to complete the circuit.
